What is the Privacy Policy about?
This policy sets out how Red Rock Mortgages handles your personal information. It explains the key measures we have taken to make sure we abide by the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1998, which includes the National Privacy Principles.
What information does Red Rock Mortgages hold about me?
We hold information that you have given us about yourself and information about how you use our products. The information you might have given us when registering as a customer or applying for a product includes contact details, general demographic information and financial information. The information generated by your use of our services includes transaction and payment information and details of any contact you have with our staff.
We only collect personal information about you which is reasonably necessary to, provide you quality products or services, or consider applications and approaches you make to us or to maintain your contact details.
We do hold personal information relating to the products and services we provide or have provided to you & your financial interests and sometimes your financial position and your contact details. We do not generally collect sensitive information about you unless required by applicable laws or rules
What do you do with this information?
We collect this information to provide you with our services - such as managing your account, sending you statements and other information, letting you know about features of your product, responding to your questions, solving your problems, knowing what sorts of services are likely to be useful to you, approving an application for credit, verifying your identity and to develop a better understanding of your needs.
Do you ever use my information to send me other advertising material?
From time to time, we would also like to let you know about other products and services from Red Rock Mortgages that you might be interested in. We might also want to let you know about products and services from other companies, but any such offers would come from us - we wouldn't give your personal information to the other company.
What if I don't want to hear about other products and services?
That's fine. Just let us know by contacting us on 03 9863 7654 or by email to expert@redrockmortgages.com.au. You can choose either to hear only about Red Rock Mortgage products, or to not receive any marketing material at all.
If you've applied for a Red Rock Mortgage, then you can let us know you don't want to receive material once you are accepted for credit (or declined). But don't worry - we won't use your information to send you marketing material until you've had the opportunity to let us know you don't want us to do so. If you apply for a Red Rock Mortgage and we decline your application, we may keep your details on file to let you know about future Red Rock Mortgage products.

Can I get access to my information or change and delete it?

If you want us to delete information we will do our best, but we may need to keep information for legal or service reasons. If this is the case, we'll let you know.

We endeavour to take all reasonable steps to keep any information we hold about our customers secure. We store your information on secure servers that are protected from unauthorised access. We train our staff to respect your privacy and keep your information confidential, and we ask the same standards of companies who work for us.
What if I have a complaint about privacy?

Will this Privacy Policy change in future?
We are always listening to our customers and to the public in general, and responding to the feedback we get. That means we will always be developing new products and services and new ways of working. Because of this, our privacy policies may need to change from time to time. If they do, we will publish the new version on our website but we won't necessarily send you specific notice of any change. Any changes we make will abide by the Privacy Act, and will continue to treat your personal information with respect.
